Network of Possibility
The Network of Possibility is a philanthropic network connecting ‘community-minded’ Canberra professionals who want to use their time, energy and skills for purpose and to influence social change. Each event raises money for three charities that work to eliminate violence against women, children and families; Karinya House, Toora Women Inc and YWCA Canberra.
The next Network of Possibility event is on Wednesday 18 March at Servcorp – The Realm, with entertainer and actor Cy Fahey as MC and highly skilled facilitator, writer, trainer and social connector Melanie Greenhalgh as Keynote Speaker.
Founded by executive career coach Dr Kim Vella, the Network influences social change.
‘We don’t yell or sell,’ says Kim. ‘We don’t whip out business cards the second we meet someone or push elevator pitches.’
‘The Network is a neutral, supportive and inclusive space for members and guests to share defeats and triumphs,’ says Kim. ‘It’s about understanding what your purpose is (not your level, status or rank). It’s a relationship-driven network where we make it a priority to get to know each other on a deeper level.’
At the Network, guest speakers inspire. Question and answer sessions stimulate. The atmosphere is casual, relaxed and fun.
